Hello!

My name is Young Lee and I am the principal of E.M. Academy. I am proud of the 18 years that E.M. Academy has served as an educational institution. As background, I left my career as a math professor in Korea in hopes of searching for advanced education opportunities in the American climate – not only for my three children, but also for my community. In America, I achieved an ESL teacher certificate from the University of California, Irvine and opened the doors to E.M. in 2000.

I have always endeavored to foster an educational environment that bridged the gap between American schooling and private tutoring. E.M. Academy has had more than 600 students walk in and out of our doors with successful results. Today, our students have earned admittance to some of the best universities in the country, as well as learning the discipline of hard work. It is my goal to provide the highest quality of education for our students through our accredited staff members, caring atmosphere, and environment. The staff and I would like to thank you for allowing us to teach, guide, and mentor your children. I look forward to achieving success together.
